ABOUT THE AUTHORS: The North Atlantic Salmon Fund (NASF) was founded in 1989 by Orri Vigusson when wild salmon from rivers on both sides of the Atlantic were in dangerous decline. Since then the organization has raised nearly $30 million to buy out netting rights and excessive exploitation so that future generations will know and appreciate the beauty and strength of the wild Atlantic salmon. R. Randolph Ashton lives in Ketchum, Idaho.
