Jim Sollers, award-winning and versatile artist,has created numerous book covers and technical illustrations, in additon to illustrating children's books. His work has appeared in books and magazines in the U.S. and abroad, and a number of private collections include his paintings. Jim lives in Rockland, Maine.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Frances Bloxam turned to creating children's stories after her first grandchild was born, drawing upon her experience as a preschool head teacher. "It was my greatest pleasure to read to the children," Frances recalls. "I became very aware of what they like and what is listenable, fun, and language-enriching." She lives in Bath, Maine.
