Robert J. Behnke is a professor emeritus in the Department of Fishery and Wildlife Biology at Colorado State University. He writes a quarterly column for Trout Unlimited's Trout Magazine. He lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Joseph R. Tomelleri has traveled more than 135,000 miles to collect live fish for his extraordinary drawings. His illustrations have appeared in many magazines and books. He lives in Leawood, Kansas.
