About the whole sensory experience of fishing ? not just catching & eating them, but the pleasures of angling in all its aspects. 77 poems & 40 pictures, plus prose commentaries on all the poems. 8.5x5.5 inches, 224 pgs.

'Don Millus, the Grand Strand's own compleat angler, easily holds the record for the most books of prose ever written about fishing in this corner of the world. Now Coastal's veteran professor of Renaissance and medieval literature weighs in with a book of poetry inspired by his great pastime-cum-vocation.

In Wading South: Fishing the 20th Century Part II, Millus muses on his experiences on the water during the past 50 years (the 'Part II' refers to the century, not the book).

'It's about the whole sensory experience of fishing ' not just catching and eating them, but the pleasures of angling in all its aspects, including spending time with one's companions,' says Millus. The book includes 77 poems and 40 pictures, most by the author, plus prose commentaries on all the poems.
