'Humorous, entertaining, and informative tales of fly fishing around the world.
Dream Fish & Road Trips is a brilliant collection of fly-fishing stories from a man who has traveled the world in search of fly-fishing adventures, from Christmas Island and Hawaii to Alaska and Siberia.
With writing both perceptive and disarmingly simple, hilarious, and informative, Thomas takes us along to some of the world's great places, fishing for species as regal as chinook salmon in Alaska, as humble as walleye in the Missouri River, and as mysterious as the red weke'a small, possibly psychoactive goatfish of great ceremonial significance to native Hawaiians.
If Hunter S. Thompson were to take up fly fishing, he'd eventually find Don Thomas. Here's a marvelously entertaining book for all fly fishers itching to break out of civilization.
