Peter Thompson has worked as an educator, primarily in the environmental & ecology fields. He has also fished all over North America. His artwork is in permanent exhibits at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, the New England Aquarium, the Norwalk Maritime Center, & the Wells Reserve National Estuarine Research Center. Peter Thompson's previous books include Thompson's Guide to Freshwater Fishes: How to Identify the Common Freshwater Fishes of North America: How to Keep Them in a Home Aquarium & The Game Fishes of New England & Southeastern Canada. He lives in Syracuse, New York.
