ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
John Gibson is the well-known author of hiking and travel books for Down West and Back Country Books. In addition to Walking the Maine Coast and Walking the New England Coast, John's other Down West books include Maine's Most Scenie Roads, New Hampshire's Most Scenic Roads, and The Traveler's Guide to the Most Scenic Roads in Massachusetts. When he is not out seeking new scenic, off-the-beaten-path routes for hiking or driving, John makes his home in Hallowell, Maine.
