Eliot A. Cohen is professor of Strategic Studies at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced Int'l Studies of the Johns Hopkins University. A member of the Defense Policy Board, advising the Secretary of Defense, he lives in Washington, D.C.
John Gooch is a professor of history at the University of Lancaster, England. One of Britain's leading military historians, he has also been a visiting professor at Yale & and the U.S. Naval War College & is the author of many books. He lives in Lancaster, England.
